An exciting and significant result of the
development of Cross Creek is the implementation of several critical improvements within the New Baltimore Service District. These capital improvements to the County's infrastructure will facilitate the creation of additional tax positive business and redevelopment within the Service District.
Transportation Improvements
- Cross Creek will invest in excess of $3.5 million in direct improvements to the New Baltimore transportation system
- Cross Creek Boulevard - a new public road connecting Lee Highway to Broad Run Church Road
- New traffic signalization at the intersection of Cross Creek Boulevard and Lee Highway
- Dual left turn lanes from southbound Lee Highway onto Cross Creek Boulevard
- Left and right turn lanes on Broad Run Church Road at its intersection with Cross Creek Boulevard
- Closing of three non-signalized median breaks on Lee Highway
- A dedicated inter-parcel travelway running east-west and bisecting the Cross Creek development - this inter-parcel travelway is in keeping with the approved New Baltimore Comprehensive Plan and will ultimately permit vehicular travel throughout the commercial portion of the New Baltimore service district while relieving traffic on both Broad Run Church Road and Route 29
Public Utility Improvements
- Cross Creek will invest in excess of $1.5 million in direct improvements to the New Baltimore public utility system
- Installation of a new sanitary pump station
