About Cross Creek
Cross Creek is a master-planned retail and commercial development conveniently located on route 29 North in New Baltimore, Virginia. Cross Creek is owned and presented by Cross Creek Investments, LLC. Cross Creek Investments, LLC is an affiliate of Angler Development, LLC, a Warrenton-based real estate development firm that is active throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Other nearby Angler Development commercial projects include Warrenton Gateway, Liberty Station, North Rock Plaza, and Carriage Lane. Local residential projects include White’s Mill, Bishops Run, Willow Creek, and Sycamore Springs.
Cross Creek is comprised of 38 acres strategically situated between Broad Run Church Road (Route 600) and Lee Highway (Route 29). 30 acres of Cross Creek are presently zoned commercial and 8 acres are presently zoned residential. Currently plans and applications are being processed to rezone the 8 acres of residential land to like commercial use.
Angler Development is honored to introduce Costco Wholesale Corporation as its first committed user at Cross Creek. A Washington state-based Fortune 500 company, Costco presently operates 508 warehouse stores worldwide. Costco’s net sales in their fiscal year 2006 were in excess of $58 billion. More information related to Costco may be found at
www.costco.com.
Of particular interest to the local community, Costco was recently identified in a Fauquier Times-Democrat survey as the #1 retailer that local residents wanted to have located in Fauquier County (see
Press Room). Additional uses at Cross Creek are anticipated to include a pharmacy, local retail shops, national and local restaurants, a book store, a delicatessen, a coffee shop, an ice cream shop, a full service car wash, and national clothing retailers.
A key component of Cross Creek is the landscaping and architectural features that are being implemented along Broad Run Church Road. In keeping with the New Baltimore Comprehensive Plan, there will be extensive landscaping between Broad Run Church Road and the development within Cross Creek. Additionally, no buildings will front or be serviced via Broad Run Church Road as all access will be from Cross Creek Boulevard. Significant time has also been spent drafting and creating custom architectural elements for those buildings nearest Broad Run Church Road. The resulting minimized building footprint and rustic features are in keeping with Fauquier County’s friendly, inviting character.
The initial phase of Cross Creek is projected to be open for business and greeting patrons in the spring of 2008. |
